ICIST (Istanbul Center for International Students) mobile application of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, provides great convenience for international students who are studying in Istanbul and gives them guidance and counselling services in different fields they need.
When you download this app with Turkish and English language support:
You can use “To Do List” to follow the procedures to be completed before arriving Turkey, procedures for visa, university registration and residence permit.
You can register and login to record your “To Do List” and you can check it whenever you like.
With the “Around Me” feature, you can see your location on map and you can see places such as state agencies, universities, hospitals and historical places around you and get information and photos of these places. You can also compute route from a start point to a target point.
You can make your life in Istanbul easier with “International Students Guide” (Istanbul Guide, universities, dormitories, useful information…)
With emergency numbers you can reach Police, Ambulance and Fire Brigade with just one click.
